A repeatable process matters more than one successful scene.
A successful scene matters, but what matters more is being able to repeat the preparation on the next role.
Start with given circumstances, objective, action, relationship, body and voice. Then test those choices with a real partner and adjust to what happens in the moment.
Training should leave you with tools, not a copy of the teacher's performance.
